Provide program coordination at healthcare client Safety Office site. The department manages the Joint Commission Environment of Care activities, environmental tours, manages the preconstruction risk assessment process and performs associated inspections, provides guidance on the safe storage and handling of hazardous materials, and manages the disposal of hazardous materials, along with many other hospital safety responsibilities.
Responsible for leading and implementing safety best practices at Life Sciences client sites. The successful Specialist will proactively identify, eliminate and control hazardous conditions that may lead to injury and/or property damage using safety standards and best management practices. This person will also conduct OSHA and other formal and informal safety training to employees within the assigned region.
Provide program consultation for our growing healthcare practice. Work with clients to audit/improve the Joint Commission Environment of Care and Life Safety programs (mock audits and survey preparedness), environmental tours, audit/manage the preconstruction risk assessment process and perform associated inspections, provide guidance on the safe storage and handling of hazardous materials.
Focus on HVAC system performance, forensic engineering, system optimization and energy calculations. This position will report to the Director of Commissioning Services. Candidates must have a solid foundation in commercial and institutional HVAC design, construction, operation, and controls. The ideal candidate will have a strong commercial building construction background (Healthcare and Life Science facility experience required) with a focus on mechanical, plumbing and life safety systems. We are seeking a candidate having a minimum of 15 years overall experience with significant experience in system performance testing, troubleshooting, project management and client interaction.
Work as part of an EH&S strategic support team at EH&E’s on-site laboratory research or biopharmaceutical clients’ locations in the metropolitan Boston and Cambridge area. Entry or junior level EH&S professional to serve as a Technical Specialist within the EH&S Department, reporting to the on-site EH&S Manager.
