Technical Specialist I and II

Technical Specialists are responsible for the delivery of technically sound work products that meet internal and external client expectations, on time and on/under budget, provides technical support in the field at client site assessments, and other related projects with input from the Project Manager. The Technical Specialists assist with field investigations and report preparations. In addition, the Technical Specialists will often support Environmental Health and Safety Programs onsite for our clients. (Environmental sampling; IAQ/IEQ investigations; Laboratory inspections; Hazardous chemical waste program compliance; OSHA, DEP, MWRA, and EPA compliance activities.)

Education / Training

B.S. degree (environmental science, industrial hygiene, safety, or the natural and/or physical sciences). One to three years of related work experience with Environmental Compliance, OSHA Compliance, Safety Compliance preferred. HAZWOPER Certification – 40 Hour, OSHA 10 Hour, OSHA 30 hour preferred. Must provide own vehicle and have a valid driver’s license; and must be able to wear a respirator.
