EH&E provides ambient air monitoring for construction projects and facilities to ensure that occupational or public health air quality standards are not being exceeded. We have state-of-the-art equipment to monitor for a wide range of environmental parameters such as volatile organic compounds, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, lead, airborne respirable dust and other contaminants. Our experts compare the sampling results to the health-based exposure guidelines as listed by the EPA, the World Health Organization, state regulators and other recognized health groups (OSHA, NIOSH, and the American Conference of Governmental Industrial Hygienists) and can conduct quantitative risk characterizations, if appropriate. In the event that the exposure guidelines are being exceed, EH&E can provide recommendations for economical strategies to reduce exposure levels so that they fall within the accepted guidelines.
