This focused support package is designed to provide the safety group with the tools and support they need to manage the data and information challenges associate with the new Joint Commission (JC) continuous compliance requirements. It contains:
Hazard Surveillance Assistant – A complete data management and reporting package to ensure your hospital meets all hazard surveillance reporting requirements. It generates surveys that contain instructions (so area managers can complete their own) and a variety of automated reports to those responsible for response, to the EC Committee, and to administration. This data analysis will be all-important in your next survey.
Chemical/Hazardous Drug Inventory Database – Takes your current Microsoft® Excel spreadsheets to a whole new level of information.
Hazardous Materials Disposal Database – Tracks and records your waste disposal records, including manifests.
Permits Tracking Database – Tracks all required permits, stores scanned copies, and with the Alerts Manager ensures that renewal dates are never missed.
EPA Multi-media Audit – This self-audit allows you to review compliance across all EPA regulations. The electronic format can be used as a task list for items requiring action.
Events Calendar – Allows the safety group to track any required activities in a centralized and visible format. Can be easily programmed to highlight missed or highly important items.
Alerts Manager – Can be linked to the e-PFI database, Permits Tracking database, or Events Calendar to allow automatic email alerts to multiple addresses. Send email reminders of pending deadlines or overdue tasks at programmed intervals to ensure you won’t miss a JC required function.
The Safety and Hazardous Materials Management Solution is supported by our Environment of Care (EC) experts who work with you to install and customize your site, as well as answer your questions concerning everyday EC issues. This package can also be upgraded to full eH&E–Healthcare capabilities when needed.
The subscription price of the Safety and Hazardous Materials Management Solution is $995 per year, and includes all of the functionality listed above and up to five hours of customization time. This time typically is used for customizing the Hazard Surveillance Assistant and client-critical databases such as chemical/drug inventories.
