Institutions of many different sizes are setting greenhouse gas reduction targets. The real challenge is developing a greenhouse gas reduction action plan. This webinar will provide the tools and templates necessary to develop an effective greenhouse gas reduction plan that can be tailored to your institution. This webinar will have a particular focus on the Climate Action Plan requirements of the American College and University President’s Climate Commitment.

Michael Crowley, MS, LEED AP, is the former Assistant Director of the Harvard Green Campus Initiative and now leads EH&E's Pathways to Campus Sustainability Program. He led the USGBC LEED certification process for 28 university buildings; managed the Green Campus Revolving Loan Fund; developed Harvard’s web-based green design/build resources; and developed Harvard’s Faculty of Arts and Sciences greenhouse gas reduction commitment.
Robert R. "Bert" Bland, P.E., is the Director of the Environmental Compliance and Sustainability Office at Cornell University. Bert has been an energy/environmental engineer in an oil refinery, has done research on producing fuel ethanol from cellulosic waste biomass, and now leads the effort to enhance Cornell University's facilities and operational environmental performance. The Environmental Compliance and Sustainability Office is leading the development of a Climate Action Plan to fulfill the American College and University Presidents Climate Commitment, and has become a founding reporter of The Climate Registry.
