Brownfield Studies

The expansion, redevelopment, or reuse of Brownfield sites may be complicated by the presence or potential presence of a hazardous substance, pollutant, or contaminant. However, federal and state programs that provide attractive financing, clean-up cost, property tax and worker tax incentives encourage businesses to reuse these distressed and/or contaminated properties. Cleaning up and reinvesting in these properties reduces development pressures on undeveloped, open land, and improves and protects the environment.
