The Periodic Performance Review (PPR) is a new requirement from The Joint Commission and is an integral part of the Shared Visions – New Pathways® accreditation survey. Preparation of the PPR is required and failure to do so can affect your accreditation status. The PPR is a mid-cycle activity within the accreditation process, and once notified you will have a short window to complete this activity. EH&E will help you determine how to approach this task and help you with preparation of the required comprehensive documents that will help you maintain accreditation in the most practical manner.
EH&E will work with you throughout the entire PPR preparation and submission process to ensure that what you prepare and submit will work best for you to maintain full accreditation. We will help you determine which completion option makes the most sense for your institution, develop a Plan of Action for any non-compliant standards, and provide advisory support on how to achieve compliance quickly.
-
EH&E will help identify the elements of performance within the Environment of Care standards to determine the level of compliance.
-
We will help you construct an efficient plan of action as required, when it is determined that your current efforts are not in compliance with Joint Commission standards.
-
We will create practical measures of success as required to determine whether an action identified in the Plan of Action is effective or sustained.
-
We will help you (as required) with the decision-making process to determine whether or not a full PPR makes sense for your organization, or if you should select one of the three available options.
-
An EH&E consultant will help you prepare for the telephone conference with Joint Commission required for final approval of the Plan of Action and Measures of Success.
