Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasure (SPCC) Plans

The purpose of the Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasure (SPCC) Plan is to establish procedures, methods, equipment, or other requirements to help prevent the discharge of oil (oil used in machinery and oil used consumptively) into or upon the navigable waters of the United States or adjoining shorelines. The U.S. EPA and the Clean Water Act have recently updated requirements for facility (SPCC) Plans.

EH&E’s expert staff, including Professional Engineers, can help you determine whether your facility requires an SPCC plan under the new requirements. If required, we can provide your facility with a comprehensive plan to meet all U.S. EPA requirements, including emergency response training.
