The Compliance Assistance Program helps healthcare institutions meet the regulatory requirements of the EPA. It is a cost-effective, expert evaluation of existing programs with the goal of providing a detailed framework for self-improvement (as needed) in order to meet strict EPA audit standards for the industry. Initial Multi-Media Assessment
This economical assessment is typically performed onsite and uses the EPA-approved Hospital Assessment Tool. It is designed to quickly assess preparedness in all areas, and point to specific plans and documents for further review as required.
Documentation and Plan Review
This service provides a comprehensive review of all documents, permits and plans required within individual areas.
Implementation and Records Review
This involves an onsite inspection and review of all compliance records within individual areas. Members of an EH&E audit team verify that your site conditions and procedures follow as-written plans, and provide recommendations to ensure compliance.
Specialty Support Services
EH&E can provide technical support for all compliance requirements you may have. Services range from creating spill discharge diagrams to developing a site-specific Environmental Management Plan.
Self-Audit and Disclosure Support
Should you choose to perform a self-audit and disclosure under the auspices of the EPA’s Self Audit Policy, EH&E will help you meet the requirements and timelines and will act as your liaison with the regional office of the EPA.
