Government

Federal, state, and local governments have complex and varied needs when it comes to environmental quality. From regulatory enforcement and education, to critical research that drives regulation, governmental organizations need to stay on the forefront of science and technology.

EH&E has proved a critical resource for government organizations, and many have come to rely on EH&E’s vast expertise in environmental health. We have provided many federal, state, and municipal agencies with a full range of services, including indoor air quality assessments, contract administration, and research support.

EH&E has the singular honor of being the US Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) prime indoor air quality contractor. Our relationship with the EPA began in 1993, and has since flourished with major research and remediation projects. The National Institutes of Health (NIH), the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Health and Welfare Canada, and Pubic Works Australia have also relied on EH&E for important contractual work.

Services provided to the government include:

  • Industrial hygiene consultations
  • Indoor air quality assessments
  • Litigation support
  • Large scale environmental studies and research
  • Training
  • Exposure and risk analyses
  • Facility support and remediation management
