Dr. Jerry Ludwig is the Director of Engineering/Principal Engineer at EH&E. Dr. Ludwig has extensive experience in HVAC system and building operations, maintenance, and construction. He has recently focused on the interaction between energy and the environment with an emphasis on this interaction as it relates to building mechanical systems. He has evaluated and diagnosed a wide range of operational problems and developed remedial and retrofit designs of mechanical systems for literally hundreds of buildings. He also has experience in mathematical/physical modeling and experimental design to evaluate the effect of building energy conservation measures on indoor air quality and thermal comfort. Dr. Ludwig has served as a guest lecturer for courses on Indoor Air Quality and Environment and Energy for both the Harvard School of Public Health and Brandeis University and is widely published in numerous peer-reviewed scientific journals.
