Joseph G. Allen, DSc, MPH

Joseph Allen, DSc, MPH, is a Senior Scientist and Senior Group Manager of the Advanced Analytics and Building Science Division with EH&E. Dr. Allen concentrates his practice on exposure science, environmental epidemiology, and statistical analysis and interpretation of environmental and occupational data. He regularly publishes in the peer-reviewed literature and presents at academic conferences. He has directed community and occupational exposure assessments related to a broad class of environmental health topics, including persistent organic compounds, flame retardants, VOCs, heavy metals, air pollution, radon and infectious disease outbreaks. Dr. Allen holds two academic appointments – Lecturer of Environmental Studies at Brandeis University and Research Associate at the Harvard School of Public Health.
